Xinhe Town focuses on building a billion dollar industrial agglomeration platform, and cooperates with Pingdu Holdings Group and Pingdu Development Group to construct a Xinhe Crafts Full Chain Rural Revitalization Industrial Park project with a total investment of 3 billion yuan; Cooperating with Pingdu Holdings Group, investing 13 million yuan to build the "Finger Elephant" Museum and a non heritage cultural and creative street, focusing on the popularization of intangible cultural heritage knowledge, experience of intangible cultural heritage projects, exhibition of Xinhe grass weaving culture, and study tourism, to create a unique "Finger Elephant" museum and expand the brand influence of Xinhe grass weaving "Finger Elephant"; Cooperate with Baihuazhou in Jinan to build an intangible cultural heritage home experience hall, set up a "finger elephant" exhibition area at Yujia Village E-commerce Museum in Anji, Zhejiang, establish friendly and interconnected relationships with intangible cultural heritage products in Shennongjia and other places, and sign joint research and development agreements with 13 provinces.

 (2) Building a workshop for intangible cultural heritage

Xinhe Town in Pingdu City will organically combine the protection and utilization of cultural heritage with the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, focusing on the construction of intangible cultural heritage workshops and creating a "grass weaving workshop" to achieve universal participation. Xinhe Town has explored the "Grass Weaving Employment Workshop" model based on the research of the Crafts Association. Through the form of "base connected to enterprise, enterprise connected to village, and village connected to farmers", the enterprise leads technical personnel to teach weaving skills from village to household or directly delivers manual processing activities to farmers' homes, forming a precise production and sales docking model directly to the field kang. It has successfully promoted "finger to finger skills" to become a "finger to finger economy" and achieved an average income increase of over 30000 yuan per person.

 (3) Increase publicity and promotion

Actively go out and invite in, unblock the "source of vitality" for brand exchange, cultural exchange, and industry exchange, and write good brand promotion articles. We have led grass weaving enterprises to participate in various large-scale exhibitions such as the Cultural Expo, Art Expo, and Tourism Development Conference. We have also held online investment promotion events, brand creativity competitions, image design competitions, skill competitions, and other activities to continuously enhance the awareness, reputation, and influence of Xinhe Grass Weaving and the "Finger Elephant" brand.

 (4) Promote the culture of intangible cultural heritage grass weaving

Clarify the new positioning of "the capital of Chinese woven crafts", actively strive to apply for "national level intangible cultural heritage" projects and national level intangible cultural heritage workshops, and comprehensively build a characteristic intangible cultural tourism town with high standards.

 (5) Innovate the craft of grass weaving

In recent years, with the continuous growth of the grass weaving industry, grass weaving products have developed from a single grass weaving product to various forms of craft products such as grass, paper, willow, wood, machine embroidery, machine nails, and other natural fibers. The weaving techniques have also evolved from the initial braiding, flat weaving, twisting weaving, flower weaving, etc. to more than 30 techniques such as cone masonry, string connection, and string nails, producing tens of thousands of varieties of grass weaving crafts. The products are exported to more than 50 countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia, forming a grass weaving industry cluster with an annual output value of up to 3 billion yuan.
